The Lee on the Solent website is where you will find information on our 'Village by the Sea'.
The website is evolving and we are seeing it being used by many visitors who come online to look for information about Lee on the Solent. We have seen a significant growth of site visitors since we have been promoting our amazing organised events, which are held he in Lee throughout the year together with other organisations who bring the community together.
With the website content being regularly updated and the linking with the events social media presence we have seen the visitor numbers increasing with over 13,700 visitors since early April this year meaning our Village by the Sea is being seen by many people from both locally and from outside the area; this ultimately increases the awareness of what we have to offer, which hopefully results in new and returning visitors over the year.
From it's conception as an idea in early 2019, it was always going to be developed as a hub to promote Lee on the Solent and subsequently the surrounding areas - the peninsula of where we live, work and relax and is visited by many.

On Our Doorstep.

The Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Park which is now opened to the public at Solent Airport, Daedalus.
This new 40-acre open space has been completely remodelled to provide a lasting commemoration of her late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. It will provide local residents with footpaths, cycle paths, wildlife habitats, and a dedicated dog exercise area, as well as the stunning Daedalus Gate Guardian sculpture, commemorative seating, a fantastic view of airport operations and much more besides.
The aviation-themed children's play area adjacent to the entrance of the park on Gosport Road will also be renamed in tribute to Her Late Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee.
