Lee on the Solent
A Village by the sea, great place to visit

Lee-on-the-Solent is a small seaside Ward of the Borough of Gosport in Hampshire, England, about five miles (8 km) west of Portsmouth.

The area is located on the coast of the Solent over looking the Isle of Wight and welcomes visitors all year round whether rain or shine to its beautiful coastal location

Its location provides a family friendly environment with a shingle beach that attracts families and friends for socialising, beach activities and relaxation; a tidal but safe waters attracts waterborne activities such as swimming, sailing, kayaking, kite surfers and jet skiers; and clifflands / greenswards that attract people for exercise, picnics or relaxation.

A short distance from the beach and the promenade is the High Street with a selection of various independent shops, cafes and restaurants together with various attractions such as the splash park, skate park, hovercraft museum, amusement arcade and various heritage buildings, so you'll need to ensure you venture away from the seafront to find out some retail gems.
